Treasure Houses

There would have been no progress of civilization; in fact civilization is molded by books. We are indebted to books for physical, mental and moral cultures. Large number  of   books  are kept for reading and research purposes in libraries. If I would say libraries are treasure houses of our university, it would not be wrong .As a student of this university. I feel such proud to have such valuable treasure in form of books. Libraries are the place where history comes to life. We have one huge central library which is named as MEHMOOD HUSSAIN LIBRARY   in which we have two digital net libraries as well. Other than this all departments have libraries within it there is a handsome collection of reference books –general and in various subjects. All libraries are well maintained. Books in libraries are well analyzed and cataloged according to various branches of knowledge; students depend on books for knowledge in their assignments. Libraries also subscribe to daily English and Urdu newspapers and monthly magazines (including the various department magazines which are the effort of students).  Libraries   are the treasure house of knowledge and wisdom. ”Libraries are re-visitors   of strength, grace and wit “.
